One of the new things that WebQuest proposes is that the pupils have to know, before starting to work, how and of what will be evaluated, this knowledge is useful because:

• It helps them to think

• It| orientates them about what is expected about them
• It makes them fix the details in all of them
• Perhaps they will try hard to make a better final product

It is also useful for the teachers that they apply a WQ not designed by them, because:

• It can help them to noticing what makes a product final be good and why.
• It gives them clues from where they have to put more emphasis
• It shows them which details are more significant
• It indicates them towards where they have to direct the attention of the pupil
• It gives the pupils arguments for improving the quality of his instructions.

In any work with pupils we can evaluate many things... concepts, procedures, development of the strategies of search, elaboration of the graphs, final product, the construction of the knowledge...
